Seiya and Pegasus soar! Saint Seiya 2014 CGI feature film to be released in 2014!

Saint Seiya fans are probably jumping out of thier seats now as the classic anime/manga series Saint Siya (Also known as Knights of the Zodiac) is getting a 2014 featured film titiled Saint Seiya: Legend of Sanctuary. It's anticipated for an early summer release and will be in 3D computer animation instead of a 2D anime format. This will be the 6th film based on the manga and will be directed by Keiichi Sato, who worked on projects such as Tiger & Bunny, Wolf's Rain, The SoulTaker, and The Big O.

This film will mark the 25th anniversary of the franchise, which is a pretty damn good accomplshment. Honestly though I'm not the biggest fan of the idea to use 3D animation. Just look at the image above and compare it to this shot from the animation.

Totally seems differed/possibly unreconizable to me. Now information anf details on the plot are vague so I don't know if the movie is featuring a brand new plot or if it is using the original story but seeing as though we won't see this film for another year, it's safe to say we shoudln't get to much infromation to soon.

That's all for now!
